The bass and low-mids are well pronounced in the X without sacrificing top end chime. Truly a warm yet crisp sounding amplifier with each standard speaker configuration. At 20 watts the X has surprising headroom, making it as suited to the stage or studio as it is to the bedroom. If you do open it all the way up, watch out - thick crunchy mid-focused overdrive awaits. Or get similar tones at apartment level volumes with added variable power scaling, or a master volume.
